When i've been developing latest release (v1.4.0), where the Database Filter was implemented for the first time, i 've noticed a small but very important issue.
For large font databases even a small matching speed accuracy is very important.The database filter itself make this searching a lot faster(after all, that's the only purpose).
For better filter testing, i've created a font Database with over 20000 font files. On "Select Browsing area and start" page, between sample image and character area is placed a progress bar which convey the progress of a matching procedure in a percent format.
Latest release, unlike other releases, set the new progress bar position on 10% of maximum range.
That small but very important modification speed up matching procedure about 30-40%!! Belive it or not!
