Go to Tools -> Change Arduino ID in order to change Arduino device ID number, default is 10000.

There are two requirements to Change Arduino device ID number.

First, active serial(USB) connection is mandatory.

Second, the minimum firmware version in Arduino Device is 3.0!

In order to avoid receiving the message "Sending Command failed", which is, in this case, means that Arduino device with firmware versions less than 3.0 doesn't recognize the command, first be sure that Arduino device has no less than 3.0 version(you can see that when serial port is opened, there is a line with firmware information).

If not, Update Firmware to the latest available version.

NOTE: Read before Update Firmware these two topics:

Update Firmware

Upload Inputs, Outputs, Program(rules)

In order to Change ID number, you will have to know the old id number. If you open port and in log space(left bottom in the main view) you will see a message like this:

In this case, Arduino ID number on COM6 is 46137 (the OLD ID number you want to change)

Change ID number to the number you want and click on the Change ID button in order to upload changes to the Arduino device. If serial port is closed, close this form, open serial port, and then upload the new Arduino device ID number.
